When I'm accelerating or slowing down I get a noise (bad bearing?). Seems like it only occurs when there is a load on the drive shaft. If I push the clutch in, or I'm in neutral (coasting), or if I'm just real easy on the gas and maintaining speed, the noise goes away. Car shifts fine into every gear. I did a search and I'm thinking it may be the input drive shaft bearing. Does that sound right? How much $ am I looking at to get this fixed? Is it a transmission shop repair? I've got a 1991 na with less than 90K miles.
